    Minn Kota's manual for this motor asks for at least a 105 amp-hour rating. Lithium Pros rate the M3110-S at 110 amp-hours, 5 amp-hours above it. Minn Kota's website battery guide asks for 110 amp-hours rather than the manual's 105, and they have not reconciled the two; at 110 this pack clears both. Lithium Pros publish a reserve-minute figure for this pack and it names Minn Kota, which is not a statement that the two go together: their footnote assumes a 50% throttle setting on a Minn Kota motor and a 50% duty cycle, so it is a runtime estimate for one motor at one throttle position. It is not the BCI reserve capacity — minutes at a fixed 25 amps — which is the measure Minn Kota's own requirement refers to, so the two numbers should not be set against each other. Minn Kota attach a condition to the chemistry that no comparison of capacities can settle: this motor is "specifically designed to run on traditional lead-acid batteries", and "running a Minn Kota trolling motor at speeds higher than 85% for a prolonged period could cause permanent damage to the motor". On charging they are the other way about — motors and Precision chargers made in 2021 or later carry a lithium profile, and earlier Precision chargers can charge lithium on the AGM setting.
