Two in series give 25.6 V and 120 Ah, near the top of Minn Kota's 100–125 Ah band. Epoch permit up to four in series. Each pack sustains 150 A continuous against a 56 A draw, and is rated IP67. Minn Kota's installation manual states their motors are designed for lead acid, that lithium holds a higher voltage for longer, and that running above 85% speed for a prolonged period could cause permanent damage to the motor.

Epoch's page for the charger says: "This charger is intended for compatible 24V LiFePO4 batteries. Do not use it on 12V batteries, 36V batteries, 48V batteries, or lead-acid / AGM batteries unless Epoch confirms compatibility for your exact battery and application." The prohibition is conditional: Epoch leave a route open, which is to ask them about a particular battery and use. Nothing on either product's page confirms these pairings, so what is published is a refusal.
