The motor's maker asks for 100 Ah minimum for a lead-acid or AGM battery, and 50 Ah to 100 Ah where the battery is lithium, and the battery must be able to supply 60 A of continuous current. This pack is rated 105 Ah and 100 A continuous. Which of the two figures applies turns on what is inside this pack, and its chemistry is not published in anything we hold — so the stricter one is used. The pack's maker permits the series wiring this needs: "Max. 4 in parallel, 4 in series (4S4P)".

Minn Kota ask for “at least a 105 amp-hour rating”, in a paragraph about lead-acid: “The motor will operate with any lead acid, deep cycle marine 12-volt battery/batteries.

Two of these, wired in series for 24 V.
Two of these in series give 25.6 V and 105 Ah, which Epoch permit — their specification allows four in series and four in parallel. 105 Ah sits inside Minn Kota's 100–125 Ah lithium band AND meets the 105 they name for lead acid, so this pairing satisfies both of their capacity statements. Each pack sustains 100 A against a 56 A draw. One caution that is nothing to do with the motor: this pack is IP54, where Epoch's Pro series is IP67, and IP54 is splashes rather than immersion. Minn Kota's installation manual states their motors are designed for lead acid, that lithium holds a higher voltage for longer, and that running above 85% speed for a prolonged period could cause permanent damage to the motor.

The manufacturer states these chargers must not be used with this battery:

Epoch's page for the charger says: "This charger is intended for compatible 24V LiFePO4 batteries. Do not use it on 12V batteries, 36V batteries, 48V batteries, or lead-acid / AGM batteries unless Epoch confirms compatibility for your exact battery and application." The prohibition is conditional: Epoch leave a route open, which is to ask them about a particular battery and use. Nothing on either product's page confirms these pairings, so what is published is a refusal.
