Minn Kota ask for “at least a 105 amp-hour rating”, in a paragraph about lead-acid: “The motor will operate with any lead acid, deep cycle marine 12-volt battery/batteries. For best results, use a deep cycle, marine battery with at least a 105 amp-hour rating.” This pack is LiFePO4. For a lithium pack the same maker's thrust-to-capacity table names a different figure for this motor: “112 lb Lithium 125–150Ah 1.5–2.5 hours Heavy-duty” Those are two of Minn Kota's own numbers for two different chemistries, and an amp-hour rating does not carry from one to the other, so they are set out here rather than compared. This pack is rated 40 Ah.
