What to do

Dealers will install an inline fuse to the auxiliary solar charging port circuit.

Description

On certain motorhomes, the auxiliary solar charging port may have been installed without proper circuit protection (a fuse). If solar panels are connected through the solar charging port and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, there may be an increased risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property.
