RDW type-approval communication E4*10R06/03*5840*00, granted at Zoetermeer on 29 May 2025 and signed by B. P. Loen. The box ticked is "approval granted" rather than "approval extended", and it names four variants: Smartshunt 300A IP65, 500A IP65, 1000A IP65 and 2000A IP65. Tested by Kiwa Assurance B.V. of Woerden, accredited to ISO 17025, under test report 20250011RPT01 dated 17 March 2025. The appendix gives the electrical system rated voltage as 12 or 24 V with NEGATIVE GROUND — the form prints "pos./neg. ground" and strikes "pos." out, following its own instruction to strike out what does not apply. A positive-ground installation is outside what this approval covers. Its scope is electromagnetic compatibility and no more. The test method named is "Electrical disturbance test on voltage supply lines", and the appendix states no vehicle-type restriction and no installation condition. It establishes nothing about the safety of the unit.
