Identity

What the wattage in the name means
The 1400 is 28 V × 50 A, not extra current

This value represents the nominal power level at a typical voltage of 14 V (12/12-50A), 14,3 V (12/12-70A) and 28 V (Orion XS 1400). Power is calculated as the product of the applied voltage and current (P = V × I). Examples: 12 V × 50 A = 600 W, 14 V × 50 A = 700 W, 28 V x 50 A = 1400 W
