OEM
A charger that holds 14.2 to 14.6 volts in absorption with temperature compensation turned OFF, and that delivers no more than 50 amps. Temperature compensation raises charging voltage as a bank gets cold, which is right for lead-acid and wrong here: Battle Born's own high-voltage protection trips at 14.7 volts, a tenth of a volt above the top of their absorption window, so a charger left on a lead-acid default has almost no room before the pack's protection acts.

A low-voltage disconnect on the inverter, controller or load set to 10.5 volts. The pack's own protection cuts off at 10 volts and reconnects at the same 10 volts; the half-volt above it is the margin Battle Born ask the equipment to act in, so that the load stops before the battery has to stop it.

Something that stops the pack being charged below 25°F — a charger with a low-temperature cut-out, a controller that can be told a minimum, or the heated version of the battery. Battle Born give a discharge range of −4°F to 135°F and a charge range of 25°F to 135°F, so there is a 29-degree band in which the pack may be used and must not be charged, and nothing on their product page says so.
